He then received his clinical certification after two years of study under a private practice therapist. With over 16 years experience, he has worked with clients ranging from children to geriatric throughout his years of counseling. He currently works primarily with children, adults and couples.

He went on to receive a Masters of Science in Nursing in 2018 from the University of South Alabama, with a specialization in psychiatric-mental healt
Colby graduated from Itawamba Community College in 2012 with an Associates of Applied Science in Nursing and Mississippi University for Women in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. He went on to receive a Masters of Science in Nursing in 2018 from the University of South Alabama, with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health and currently works as a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With over 8 years of experience in mental health and medical specialties, he has cared for both adults and children. Colby currently works with patients that are five and older, having ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, and other mental health issues.
